Rossland Wedding of Interest Here.

Of interest in Vancouver is the wedding that took place in Rossland on Monday, when Islay, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Terhune of LeRoi Heights, Rossland became the bride of Mr. Daniel McNaughton, only son of Mr. and Mrs. D. McNaughton, 1823 Comox Street.

At the home of the bride's parents, the ceremony was performed under an arch of sweet peas surrounded by baskets of gladioli. The bride was given in marriage by her father. Pale pink satin was molded in graceful lines for the gown of the bride whose white veil cascaded from a halo trimmed with orange blossoms. Her bouquet was of pale pink carnations and roses.

Miss Jean Terhune, the only attendant, wore a gown of white organdie blocked in red and carried a bouquet in which cream roses were blended with carnations and maidenhair fern. The groom was supported by Mr. Stewart (sic) Terhune of Bridge River, brother of the bride. Officiating was Rev. Charles E. Motte, assisted by Mr. William Dover of Vancouver. Music throughout the ceremony was provided by Miss Mary Rogers.

The garden was the scene of the reception that followed., Centering the bride's table was the wedding cake. Four pink tapers in silver holders and silver vases of sweet peas completed the attractive arrangement. Presiding at the urns were Mrs. Philip Gallie and Mrs. Edgar E. Perkins.

When Mr. and Mrs. McNaughton left later for Spokane, Mrs McNaughton wore a sports suit in plaid wool with brown accessories. From Spokane the travellers continued by plane to Seattle and are present visiting in Vancouver at the home of the parents of the home of the parents of the grooms. They will return to the interior around the end of August.
